On Sunday, May 20th, Amy’s Treat was hosted by the Women of the Dover Moose, a crew from Harvey’s Bakery and Lindt Chocolate for a special breakfast fundraiser. The result was not only delicious, but also raised a lot of money and awareness for Amy’s Treat programs. This is our second year to be so honored by the Women of the Moose. In 2011, Caren Peloso, who was a treasured volunteer at Amy’s Treat, brought us to the attention of this wonderful group. Many of her family and friends were all to be found in the kitchen and helping out on the floor in order to make this day possible.

Our special thanks to (from left to right) Nancy, Nancy Flint, Julie Roy, Deb Nadeau , Jana Curti, Pam Simpson, B.J.Love and Pam O. Second row: Byron, Tyler, Abby Field and Deb Roy. Not in the photo, but every bit a part of the outstanding crew: Kelly Hubbard, Joy Schuppert ,Smokey, Steph and Chantell Giambrone.

In addition to this breakfast, Harvey’s Bakery sold “Open your heart for Amy’s Treat” cards that made an outstanding window display, The Dover American Legion delivered a check and all the participants went home with chocolate from Lindt. Flowers for the tables were arranged by Bernadette Norton through Wentworth Greenhouse and following the breakfast they were brought to Hyder Hospice House.

Thank you to everyone who made this fundraiser possible.
