hockey_9On Thursday, December 2nd, sixteen year old Bryce Aldrich was the force behind a hockey scrimmage fundraiser between the high schools of Somersworth and Noble that raised more than $1,600.00 for Amy’s Treat.

After learning that the mother of his friend Nick was facing her second bout with cancer, Bryce decided to show his support by raising money to assist her and others living with cancer.

Bryce credits Vicki Hudson as his inspiration and he was helped along the way by his “team” of Chris Roseberry, Jeff and Tammy Aldrich (his parents), the Noble-Wells and Somersworth hockey boosters, the players, his girlfriend Kathryn and a number of good friends.

Bryce said, “The best part of the evening is knowing that the people in there were helping support the cause”. On behalf of everyone at Amy’s Treat and all those who’ll benefit from this fundraiser, we applaud Bryce and all those who helped to make this night possible.
