On a sun splashed Sunday in April, Amy’s Treat supporters and recipients shared the stage at Portsmouth Harbor Events and Conference Center in Portsmouth for our 6th annual Amy in Bloom Auction Fundraiser. Thanks to Benefits Auctioneer Kathy Kingston and our generous supporters, the bidding was fast and furious and when the final “SOLD!!” rang out, Amy’s Treat and the people we work hard to benefit had a very good day. Thank you to all those who donated amazing and hotly sought after auction items, our sponsors, Cathryn Norris for her lovely music and of course – all those that came out and dug deep and bid high so that another’s journey could be made kinder.
Congratulations to Bryce Aldrich. He is the first recipient of our Cecile Dubois Community MVP Award for his 2012 & 2013 Cancer Awareness Hockey Scrimmage between the high schools of Noble Wells and The Somersworth Coe Brown Bearcats that has raised thousands of dollars for Amy’s Treat and its mission.
