2012 – Making A Difference – Community Partner Timberland Brings A Smile Amidst A Tower of Warm Winter Wear
“Recently, Timberland lent its support to the Amy’s Treat organization by providing a $1,000 shopping spree for a patient named, Patrice. We learned that Patrice was in need of winter clothing for her and her 4 children. In a team effort, we met Lenore from Amy’ Treat along with Patrice and her mom at the Timberland store in Stratham. We, along with the 2 lovely Timberland sales associates teamed up and enjoyed helping Patrice and her mom pick out clothing and footwear items for their family to help keep them warm this winter. Within an hour, we had Timberland merchandise stacked taller than Patrice! It was great to see the smile on Patrice’s face as we brought out boots, jackets, scarves, and hats. She needn’t say any words – her face said it all… It brings me great pleasure to represent Timberland and to partner with an wonderful organization like Amy’s Treat, taking part in this very special giving opportunity – Surely a “treat” that renewed the spirit of everyone involved.”
