Glenn Newcomb Poker Run
Friends and family of Glenn Newcomb held a Poker Run yesterday on a glorious summer day in memory of him and to raise funds for Amy’s Treat!
Glenn lost his fight with cancer earlier this year and they wanted to recognize what Amy’s Treat did for Glenn during his battle. Glenn had to have a very specialized surgery at MGH in Boston last summer, so Amy’s Treat arranged for a car service to bring him down for his consultation and then for his surgery.
Once recovered, Glenn and his guests got treated to a day out on a fishing boat and a lovely meal, all from Amy’s Treat. During difficult times as we all are having right now, we all can make a difference in someone’s life, big or small. Thank you Kim Mendell for honoring your friend so well! And thank you all from Amy’s Treat for paying it forward so others can enjoy what Glenn did.
