Keeping the staff going during COVID-19
Amy’s Treat is dedicated to helping those living with cancer, but also supports the medical professionals who take care of the cancer patients at the Seacoast Cancer Center. A difficult adjustment to the COVID-19 changes has been staff needing to wear surgical masks all day. The doctors, nurses, Radiation Therapists, HUCs , MAs , etc have a hard time staying hydrated and energized though nutrition. Over the past week, Amy’s Treat has helped to keep the front-line staff of the SCC fueled through drinks , easy snacks , and some ice cream treats.
